· Sports DNK

Brøndby IF moved to the top of the Danish Superliga on Sunday evening after a 2-0 away victory over newly promoted AC Horsens in the third round of the season.

Marcus Younis headed Brøndby into the lead after 12 minutes, and an own goal by AC Horsens defender Mikkel Kupijbida in the second half sealed the result.

The win leaves Brøndby unbeaten after three matches with seven points from two wins and a draw. FC Copenhagen and FC Midtjylland had each won their opening two fixtures but did not play in this round. AC Horsens have managed just one point since their promotion and remain without a victory in the top flight.
