Brighton have rejected a £60m bid from Liverpool for winger Yankuba Minteh, turning down an improved offer after previously dismissing a £50m approach. The 22-year-old Gambia international, who joined Brighton from Newcastle for £30m in 2024, is currently sidelined with a leg injury expected to keep him out until October.
Liverpool's pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain forward Bradley Barcola remains their top transfer target, though negotiations have stalled over valuation. PSG are holding out for around £145m, while Liverpool are unwilling to exceed approximately £100m for the French winger.
Brighton are also in advanced talks with Manchester United over the sale of Carlos Baleba, with a deal worth over £60m understood to be close. The transfer window closes on September 1.
