Belgium's domestic passenger trains reached a punctuality rate of 94.6% in July, up from 93.4% in the same month last year, according to figures released Monday.
The year-to-date average climbed to 93.0%, a 1.5-percentage-point improvement over the first seven months of 2025. When partially or fully cancelled services are factored in, however, July's adjusted punctuality fell to 92.3%, with more than 3,100 trains scrapped during the month.
SNCB was responsible for 39.4% of July delays, while third parties accounted for 26.9% and Infrabel for 15.8%. A further 13.5% of delays were attributed to a lack of railway robustness.
