Ukrainian drones struck a major Gazprom refinery and a Wildberries logistics centre in Bashkortostan on Wednesday, wounding two people, after recent barrages on Russian energy infrastructure. Of 21 drones targeting the republic, 16 were downed over Salavat, where debris ignited a fire at the Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat plant, Governor Radiy Khabirov said. The remaining drones hit a 186,800-square-metre Wildberries warehouse in the Chishminsky district; the company said the unfinished facility held no goods.

In Rostov, Governor Yuriy Slyusar said air defences destroyed about 90 drones across eight districts. Orenburg Governor Yevgeny Solntsev reported renewed strikes on Orsk, where an earlier attack on 11 August halted the Orsknefteorgsintez refinery for up to six months. In occupied Sevastopol, Ukrainian drones knocked out a key substation and water hub, cutting power. Russia's Defence Ministry said it intercepted 362 drones overnight across multiple regions.
