Ukrainian long-range strikes hit a Russian warship and cargo vessels linked to Iranian military shipments in the Caspian Sea, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced. The Security Service of Ukraine said the operation also targeted a Lukoil oil platform and two cargo ships, Port Olya 2 and BG.

Iran accused Ukraine of attacking an Iranian commercial vessel in the same strike, killing one sailor and wounding another. Tehran summoned Ukraine's chargé d'affaires, and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi raised the matter with EU High Representative Kaja Kallas, calling for accountability.

Zelenskyy alleged Russia had shared satellite imagery of Gulf states and US military sites with Iran on July 19 and 20. He listed additional Russian targets hit by long-range Ukrainian strikes in recent hours.
