Tom Kim claimed the Genesis Scottish Open on Sunday, closing with a bogey-free final-round 64 to finish at 17 under par and secure his first victory in 1,001 days. The win, his fourth PGA Tour title, makes Kim the first South Korean to capture the Scottish Open crown and guarantees him a place in the 2027 Masters.
Kim finished two shots clear of Min Woo Lee, who posted 15 under, with Matt Fitzpatrick and Robert MacIntyre a further two strokes back. Rory McIlroy matched Kim's closing 64 to finish tied seventh at 12 under. Defending champion Aaron Rai missed the cut.
The tournament also served as an Open Championship qualifier at Royal Birkdale, with Michael Thorbjornsen, Johnny Keefer, and Victor Perez earning berths. Kim, whose previous win came at the 2023 Shriners Children's Open, dedicated the victory to his supporters.
