Tesla Manufacturing Brandenburg SE plans to ramp up production at its Grünheide factory near Berlin to as many as 7,500 vehicles a week, or about 375,000 annually, while expanding battery cell manufacturing and creating 3,500 new jobs, the company announced.
The expansion forecast for 2026 follows a mixed 2025 for the German subsidiary. The unit reported a net profit of €77.1 million, up roughly €20 million from a year earlier, even as revenue fell to €7.1 billion from €7.7 billion in 2024. Vehicle output declined to about 202,000 units, down 9,000 from the prior year, with capacity utilisation slipping to 54 percent.
The Grünheide plant opened in March 2022 and employed about 11,000 people at the end of 2025.
