Stephen Bear has been sentenced to 24 weeks in prison for failing to comply with sex offender register notification requirements, after pleading guilty to five counts at Thames Magistrates' Court.
Bear, 36, travelled to Brazil in January 2025 without informing police and posted social media videos from a beach taunting that officers could not catch him. He returned to the UK in April 2026 following his father's death but failed to notify authorities within the required three days. He also obtained a replacement passport and two bank cards while abroad without declaring them.
Bear was already serving a 16-month sentence for breaching a restraining order by posting online about his ex-partner Georgia Harrison. He was placed on the register for 10 years after being jailed in 2023 for sharing private sexual footage of Harrison on OnlyFans without her consent. He was ordered to pay £85 in costs and a £154 surcharge.
