Fiskars reported a stronger second quarter as comparable operating profit more than doubled to 7.7 million euros from 3 million euros a year earlier, though the result fell short of the 12.4 million euros analysts had forecast.
Revenue rose 1 percent to roughly 261 million euros, driven by gains at the Vita division, where sales climbed to 130.4 million euros from 125.3 million. That was partly offset by a decline in the Fiskars segment to 128.7 million euros. Reported operating profit slumped 76 percent to 1.3 million euros, while adjusted earnings per share worsened to minus 0.06 euros. Free cash flow surged to 30.7 million euros from 2.3 million.
The Finnish consumer goods company maintained its full-year guidance, expecting comparable operating profit to improve from 2025 levels of 76.4 million euros.
