Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez were married Tuesday in a civil ceremony in the Portuguese coastal resort of Cascais, tying the knot exactly one year after announcing their engagement. The private and intimate wedding was attended by the couple's five children, and Ronaldo shared a photograph of the pair wearing wedding rings on Instagram.

The couple met in Madrid in 2016 when Rodriguez was working at a Gucci store. Ronaldo, 41, and Rodriguez, 32, have been together for nearly a decade and cumulatively command more than 750 million followers across their social media accounts.

The wedding comes four days before Ronaldo's club Al Nassr open their 2026-27 Saudi Pro League campaign. The Portuguese forward confirmed earlier this summer that he has played his final World Cup match and will turn 43 before the 2028 European Championships.
