A bus collided with a tree on Wednesday afternoon in a wooded stretch of road near Třeboň in southern Bohemia, injuring four people.
The driver sustained moderate head and chest injuries and was airlifted by helicopter to a hospital in České Budějovice, emergency services said. One minor with light injuries was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Jindřichův Hradec, while two other minors were examined and treated at the scene without requiring transport.
The crash occurred shortly before 15:30 on the I/34 highway between Třeboň and Stará Hlína, closing the road in both directions. Traffic police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
