Barcelona will officially present Karim Adeyemi as a new player on Wednesday, July 22, with club president Joan Laporta confirming the imminent unveiling upon his return from the World Cup final in the United States.

Adeyemi, 24, arrives from Borussia Dortmund in a deal valued at 22 million euros plus 7 million euros in add-ons, with a contract running through the summer of 2031. He becomes Barcelona's second major signing of the transfer window following the acquisition of Anthony Gordon. The German forward has passed his medical examination and visited head coach Hansi Flick at the club's training complex.

The forward departs Dortmund after 146 appearances and 36 goals, while also holding 11 senior caps for Germany. His arrival follows the expiration of Robert Lewandowski's contract at the end of June, reshaping Barcelona's attacking options ahead of the new season.
