Eala, who earlier in the tournament beat Elina Svitolina and Leylah Fernandez, overcame an Osaka side that had rallied past Elisabetta Cocciaretto 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 in the quarterfinals of the Mubadala Citi Open, which began July 31 in Washington.
In the men's draw, Taylor Fritz defeated Brandon Nakashima and Rafael Jodar beat Alejandro Tabilo to reach the final.
In doubles, the pair of Makoto Ninomiya and Andreja Klepac fell in the championship match.
