YouTube Premium subscribers in the United States, multiple European countries and Singapore face higher monthly bills as Google rolls out price increases across several markets in 2026.
In the US, the individual plan rose by $4 per month during the second quarter. European rates climbed to 15.99 euros in some regions, while Finland's individual plan moved to 16.99 euros and Romania's to 32 leu. In Portugal and Italy, individual subscriptions jumped to 20.99 euros and family plans to 29.99 euros. Denmark saw a roughly 14.4 percent increase, bringing the monthly cost to 159 kroner. Singapore's individual and family plans rose to S$15.98 and S$31.98 respectively.
European users must explicitly accept the new pricing by Oct. 10, 2026 or risk cancellation under a mandatory opt-in procedure. Elsewhere, affected subscribers will see the new rates applied from their next billing cycle or after Sept. 23, 2026.
