Sixteen-year-old Kristina Liutova will meet Czech Darja Viďmanová in Sunday's final of the WTA 250 event in Memphis, making Liutova the youngest player to reach a WTA final since Coco Gauff in 2019.
Liutova, ranked 229th, defeated American Elvina Kalieva 7-5, 6-1 in the semifinals. She earlier knocked out top-seeded compatriot Ekaterina Alexandrova in the first round and is only the second player born in 2010 to win a WTA tour match. Viďmanová, 23, beat Mexico's Renata Zarazúa 6-3, 6-3 to reach her first WTA singles final, a run that lifted her from 114th to 92nd in the live rankings.
In the doubles final, Kozyreva and Lumsden defeated Chan Hao-Ching and Joint 7-6 (8-6), 6-3. The tournament carries a purse of $283,347.
