Sixteen-year-old qualifier Kristina Liutova captured the WTA 250 title in Memphis, rallying past Darja Vidmanova 1-6, 6-1, 6-3 in Sunday's final after dropping the opening set.
Liutova, ranked 229th entering the week, became the youngest WTA tour-level champion since Coco Gauff won in Linz in 2019. The Memphis event was her first career main-draw appearance on the tour, and the title will lift her to a career-high 126th in the rankings — a steep climb from 714th at the start of the season.
Vidmanova, 23, was contesting her first tour-level final.
