Stellantis is recalling nearly one million vehicles worldwide to fix a rearview camera defect, the automaker confirmed, with the vast majority of affected units located in the United States.
The recall covers roughly 955,000 vehicles across the company's Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram brands, spanning model years 2026 to 2027. Approximately 850,000 of the affected vehicles are in the U.S., while an additional 107,000 units in Canada, Mexico and other markets outside North America are also affected.
Stellantis said it will resolve the camera issue remotely, delivering a software update over the air to affected vehicles, sparing owners a trip to the dealership. U.S. customers will receive the radio software update directly to their vehicles.
