Porsche reported a sharp decline in global deliveries during the first half of 2026, with sales falling 16 percent to roughly 122,300 vehicles compared with the same period last year.
The steepest losses came in China, where deliveries dropped 32 percent to about 14,500 units — a steep fall from nearly 100,000 vehicles sold there in 2021. The company now expects full-year Chinese sales of around 30,000 cars. North American and European markets also contracted, though sales of the 911 model rose 19 percent to more than 30,500 units.
Facing sustained pressure, Porsche plans to eliminate more than 4,000 positions from a workforce of some 42,000. Sales chief Matthias Becker confirmed that deliveries of the Cayenne Electric began in late June.
