Northern Territory police have released body-camera footage of convicted murderer Bradley John Murdoch repeatedly denying he knows the location of Peter Falconio's remains, just weeks before his death in prison.
The footage, published on the eve of the 25th anniversary of Falconio's disappearance, shows Murdoch telling investigators in June 2025: "I know nothing. I've been saying that for 22 years." Murdoch died of throat cancer at Alice Springs Hospital the following month while serving a life sentence for the July 2001 shooting of Falconio on a remote stretch of the Stuart Highway near Barrow Creek.
An earlier inquest found that Murdoch had refused to watch a video plea from Falconio's parents. Falconio's father, Luciano, said he wished the killer had left some clue to help locate his son's body, which has never been found. Authorities continue to offer a 500,000 Australian-dollar reward for information leading to the recovery of the remains.
