Palantir Technologies reported second-quarter revenue of $1.94 billion, a 93 percent increase from a year earlier, trouncing Wall Street estimates and prompting the company to raise its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to as much as $8.16 billion.
US government contracts grew 90 percent to $809 million, while US commercial revenue surged 149 percent. Net income reached $1.06 billion, or $0.41 per share, up from $327 million a year ago. Shares rose roughly 14 percent in after-hours trading following the results.
Palantir's AI-powered software is used by the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Defense, and is reportedly deployed in the Iran conflict. The company's analytics platform is also in use by police authorities in several German states, including North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse, and Bavaria.
