Liverpool have so far secured only two arrivals — Jeremy Jacquet for £60m and Victor Munoz from Osasuna for £34.5m — while an £85m bid for RB Leipzig's Yan Diomande was rejected. The rebuild is complicated by the June departures of Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson, and Ibrahima Konate on contract expiry, alongside long-term injuries to Hugo Ekitike, Conor Bradley, and Geovanni Leoni.
Iraola pledged to maintain his aggressive playing style and confirmed Harvey Elliott will be assessed during pre-season. The transition has been turbulent, with FSG CEO Michael Edwards departing days before the press conference.
