The Helene Fischer Show will return to public television on Christmas Day, marking the end of a one-year absence from the holiday schedule. ZDF has officially confirmed the 2026 comeback of the music entertainment special, which will air on 25 December as part of the prime-time Christmas programming.

The show was absent last year after Fischer paused following the birth of her second child. The co-production between ORF, ZDF, and SRF will be recorded over two days on 30 and 31 October in Düsseldorf.

In Austria, the broadcast will air on ORF 2 during the main evening slot on the first Christmas holiday. The show has been a staple of German-language holiday television, drawing large audiences across the three participating countries.
