Google sets Aug. 12 event to unveil Pixel 11 lineup and Pixel Watch 5

· Technology USA

Google will introduce its next-generation Pixel 11 smartphones and the Pixel Watch 5 at a Made by Google event in New York on Aug. 12, the company confirmed in press invitations that included visual teasers of the new handsets.

The new Pixel generation will focus on refining external dimensions rather than overhauling the design language. An ongoing industry-wide RAM shortage is affecting the lineup: the 128 GB storage tier for the two smaller models has been dropped, signaling a likely upward shift in entry-level pricing.

The Aug. 12 date marks a slightly earlier reveal than last year's hardware launch, which took place on Aug. 20. The event will feature the broader next hardware generation beyond the flagship phones, continuing Google's push to expand its consumer device ecosystem.
