Samsung will hold its second Galaxy Unpacked event of the year in London on July 22, marking the first time the company has staged a foldable phone launch in Europe. The presentation is scheduled for 9 p.m. Taiwan time.
Invitations featured a "tear-away" label design that signals the debut of a wider-screen foldable model. Reports indicate Samsung may unveil up to three new foldable phones, including a Z Fold8 Ultra, a redesigned Z Fold8 with a 4:3 aspect ratio, and the smaller Z Flip8, along with an updated Galaxy Watch. The company has opened reservations with a $30 credit for early orders.
The event comes as Apple's first foldable device remains expected later this year, intensifying competition in the category.
