Fresenius has raised its full-year core earnings-per-share growth forecast to 10–15 percent, up from a prior range of 5–10 percent, after second-quarter results beat expectations. The German healthcare group posted Q2 2026 revenue of 5.86 billion euros, with organic sales rising 6 percent and EBIT climbing 10 percent at constant currency to 719 million euros. Strong performances at Fresenius Kabi and Fresenius Helios underpinned the upgrade.
Separately, Fresenius Medical Care reported 5 percent organic revenue growth and a 23 percent increase in operating income at constant currency for the quarter. The dialysis provider completed its initial 1 billion-euro share buyback and launched a second program of equal size, while closing roughly 100 underperforming clinics.
Fresenius, led by Chief Executive Michael Sen since October 2022, now classifies Fresenius Medical Care as a financial stake following the unwinding of their corporate integration. The company also sold its Eugin fertility clinic chain. Fresenius expects 2026 organic revenue growth of 4–7 percent.
