An easyJet flight from Tenerife South to Liverpool was forced to return to its departure airport on Tuesday after a brawl broke out among passengers roughly 30 minutes into the journey. The captain of flight EZY3352, carrying 186 passengers, turned the aircraft around once cabin crew reported a disturbance involving a group of about 10 people.

Police met the aircraft at Tenerife South airport, where authorities identified eight individuals — two adults and six minors, all British nationals — as participants in the altercation. No arrests were made.

The aircraft resumed its journey to Liverpool after roughly an hour on the ground, arriving nearly two hours behind schedule. Police presence had been requested upon the plane's initial return to the Canaries, where Spanish air traffic controllers first reported the group altercation to authorities.
