Cape Verde goalkeeper Vozinha has agreed to join Chilean club Colo Colo, with club president Aníbal Mosa confirming the deal on July 25, 2026. The 40-year-old free agent is set to travel to Chile in the coming days for a medical examination before the transfer is finalised.

Vozinha, whose full name is Josimar José Évora Dias, drew widespread attention after his performances at the 2026 World Cup, where he helped Cape Verde reach the round of 32 in their tournament debut. He kept a goalless draw against eventual champions Spain and pushed runners-up Argentina to extra time in a 3-2 defeat, earning a place in FIFA's fan-voted Dream Team.

The veteran shot-stopper became a free agent after his contract with Portuguese second-division side Chaves expired prior to the World Cup. Interest from Colo Colo was initially driven by Mosa, according to his agent Adilson dos Santos.
