Adam Ramsay-Peaty won bronze in the 100m breaststroke at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow on Friday, finishing behind Australia's Sam Williamson and Jersey's Filip Nowacki. Williamson took gold in 59.17 seconds, with Nowacki claiming silver.
Ramsay-Peaty touched in 59.65 seconds, more than four-tenths slower than his semi-final swim and nearly three seconds off his 2019 world record. The result follows a turbulent period for the three-time Olympic champion, who took a break from the sport in 2023 citing mental health struggles and married Holly Ramsay in December 2025 in a ceremony that excluded his parents.
Ramsay-Peaty is due to swim the 50m breaststroke heats on Sunday, having committed to the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics after the event was added to the programme.
