Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced changes to the country's government on Sunday, citing a shift in political strategy as Kyiv prepares for winter and seeks to shore up vital international partnerships.
Zelensky thanked Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko for her work and said he has offered her a new role leading relations with a key partner nation. The reshuffle, he said, stems from a revised domestic and foreign policy strategy and the need to give special attention to reconstruction agreements with partners.
Zelensky stressed that Ukraine must be ready for any threat and said he expects an increase in weapons deliveries, including drones of all types, as the country braces for the months ahead.
