The US government has released a fourth tranche of declassified records on unidentified anomalous phenomena, adding 227 megabytes of documents and 1.4 gigabytes of video to the public PURSUE archive. The latest dump, posted 10 July, covers unresolved cases where authorities could not determine the nature of the observed objects.
The disclosure follows months of pressure from President Donald Trump, who pushed for the files' publication. The Pentagon also published new UAP footage described as the clearest recordings to date, including an object spotted during military operations over the East China Sea. Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth said the long-classified files had historically fuelled "justified speculation".
The records span from the late 1940s through 2025. Tranches have been issued on 8 May, 22 May, 12 June, and now 10 July 2026.
