Spain's inflation holds steady at 3.2% for third consecutive month in June

Spain's consumer prices held at 3.2% year-on-year in June, marking the third straight month at that rate, the National Statistics Institute confirmed on Tuesday.

Underlying inflation, which strips out unprocessed food and energy, eased to 2.9%, while prices rose 0.6% on the month. The EU-harmonised inflation gauge stood at 3.6% year-on-year.

Food and non-alcoholic beverage prices climbed 1.9% from a year earlier, the lowest rate since January 2025. Within that category, eggs jumped 14.1%, beef rose 11%, and fish gained 8.8%.
