Real Madrid drew 2-2 with Fiorentina in a pre-season friendly on Friday, marking Jose Mourinho's first match back in charge of the Spanish club at the Wörthersee Stadion in Klagenfurt, Austria.
Endrick opened the scoring in the 12th minute before 18-year-old Alexis Ciria doubled the lead 12 minutes later. Fiorentina responded through Roberto Piccoli just before half-time, and Moise Kean levelled in the 58th minute to secure the draw. Madrid were missing several key players including Kylian Mbappé, Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior. Dumfries and Espí made their debuts for the Spanish side.
A minute of silence was observed before kick-off for Franco Baresi, the former AC Milan defender who died aged 66. Around 30,000 spectators attended the match. Fiorentina, who had beaten Watford and lost to QPR earlier in pre-season, open their Serie A campaign against AS Roma on 24 August.
