Patrick Kielty will continue presenting The Late Late Show until 2028 after signing a new three-year contract with RTÉ. The deal, which allows for up to 30 episodes per season, secures his return for the programme's 66th season starting this September.
The extension follows a strong 2025/26 season that averaged 385,000 viewers per episode with a 38.2% audience share and more than 1.46 million streams on RTÉ Player. Social media platforms recorded 20.58 million engagements, a 60% increase on the previous year. While Kielty earned €266,323 in 2025, the salary for the new contract has not been disclosed.
Kielty, who announced his separation from Cat Deeley last year, became the fourth host of the long-running show in September 2023, succeeding Ryan Tubridy.
