A Ukrainian woman suspected of carrying out a parcel bomb attack in Monaco was found shot dead in a forest near Kyiv late Monday evening, authorities said.

Anastasiia Berezovska, 39, was the subject of an Interpol Red Notice after allegedly disguising herself as a man to place an explosive device in a Monaco apartment lobby on 29 June, wounding Ukrainian-born multi-millionaire Vadym Yermolaiev, his partner, and his 13-year-old son. She had recently returned to Ukraine, where funds were transferred to her bank and cryptocurrency accounts, the SBU said.

Two suspects have been detained on murder charges: an active officer in Ukraine's military intelligence directorate, who confessed to the killing alongside a second man, and a former law enforcement officer. A basement room resembling a torture chamber was discovered during a search of the ex-officer's home, though investigators said it was not linked to the murder.
