Justin Baldoni broke his silence on the "It Ends With Us" dispute on Wednesday, saying in an Instagram video with his wife Emily that their family is "healing" after nearly two years of legal scrutiny.
The post follows a confidential settlement reached in May between Baldoni and co-star Blake Lively, who accused him of sexual harassment and retaliation during production of the film. Judge Lewis J. Liman dismissed most of Lively's claims, allowing three to proceed: breach of contract, retaliation, and aiding and abetting retaliation. A countersuit filed by Baldoni for $400 million against Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and publicist Leslie Sloane over defamation and extortion was dismissed.
Despite the settlement, Lively's legal team is seeking roughly $8 million in attorneys' fees and litigation expenses from Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios. The legal clash originated when Lively filed her initial claim in late 2024.
