Juliette Binoche is presenting several of her films at the 60th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, where she will receive the Crystal Globe for outstanding artistic contribution to world cinema at the closing ceremony.
The French actress introduced the documentary "In Us", which chronicles her creative partnership with British dancer Akram Khan. The pair built a stage production that toured the world 424 times, a project that became a film after Robert Redford urged them to capture it on screen. Binoche also presented "Three Colours: Blue", delivering an emotional tribute to the late director Krzysztof Kieślowski, and is scheduled to screen "Certified Copy."
The festival's lifetime achievement Crystal Globes are also being awarded to Dustin Hoffman and Robert Richardson, while the President's Prize has gone to Jeffrey Wright, Magda Vášáryová, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Jesse Eisenberg.
