Karsten Warholm won the 400 metres hurdles in 46.61 seconds, a world-leading time for the season. Henriette Jæger set a Norwegian record of 49.15 in the women's 400 metres, finishing behind winner Marileidy Paulino, who clocked 48.97.
In the pole vault, Armand Duplantis was forced to withdraw from the competition because of an injury, while Sondre Guttormsen placed fifth with a best height of 5.85 metres. Tobias Grønstad finished eighth in the 800 metres.
