Harry Kane to receive second European Golden Shoe at Bayern Munich ceremony

· Sports DEUGBR

Harry Kane will be honoured with the European Golden Shoe for the second time after scoring 36 Bundesliga goals last season, edging out Manchester City's Erling Haaland and Real Madrid's Kylian Mbappé for Europe's top scorer accolade.

The trophy presentation is scheduled for 19 August at the FC Bayern Museum inside the Allianz Arena, where the club plans what it calls a major spectacle to mark the occasion. Kane previously won the award following the 2023/24 campaign.

Across all competitions last season, the Bayern Munich striker netted 73 goals in 65 appearances for club and country. Off the pitch, the club and player are reportedly planning a contract extension through 2029 with no reduction in salary.
