Fulham have appointed Alvaro Arbeloa as their new head coach on a three-year contract running until summer 2029, the Premier League club confirmed on Wednesday.
The 43-year-old succeeds Marco Silva, who departed for Benfica upon the expiry of his contract. Arbeloa arrives after a stint at Real Madrid, where he was promoted to first-team head coach in January 2026 following the sacking of Xabi Alonso. He guided Madrid to a second-place finish in La Liga over the final 28 matches of the campaign before leaving the club at the end of the season.
Arbeloa's first Premier League match in charge will be against Chelsea at Craven Cottage.
