France advanced to the 2026 World Cup semi-finals after a 2-0 victory over Morocco in Thursday's quarter-final, securing a meeting with the winner of Spain vs. Belgium.

Kylian Mbappé opened the scoring after his first-half penalty was saved by goalkeeper Bono following a foul by Noussair Mazraoui. Morocco protested a handball by Adrien Rabiot in the buildup, but the goal was confirmed. Ousmane Dembélé added a second goal to seal the win.

Mbappé was forced off with an injury late in the match.
