Enzene has launched NeX, an end-to-end partnership model designed to help governments, institutions and biopharmaceutical companies establish local drug manufacturing capacity at a fraction of conventional costs. The announcement was made in Pune, India, in early August 2026.
NeX is built on Enzene's proprietary fully-connected continuous manufacturing platform, which CEO Himanshu Gadgil says can deliver the same output as a traditional biologics plant for between $60 million and $80 million, compared with the $300 million to $400 million typically required for conventional construction. The programme bundles facility design and construction, technology transfer, intellectual property licensing, workforce training and operational support. Enzene estimates that facilities built under NeX could reach commercial readiness in under three years.
The company said it is already in discussions with multiple governments and corporations worldwide about potential projects.
