An archaeological mission from Leiden University in the Netherlands has excavated a 3,000-year-old tomb near Luxor, Egypt. Located in the Sheikh Abd el-Qurna necropolis on Luxor's west bank, the ancient burial site belongs to a man named Paser.
The burial site constructed during the Ramesside period features artistic inscriptions. These carvings depict Paser paying tribute to various deities and sitting alongside his wife in front of an offering table.
While some historical records identify the tomb's owner as a vizier or prime minister of southern Egypt, his exact administrative or priestly rank remains a subject of ongoing research.
