Dieter Bohlen has offered his former Modern Talking partner Thomas Anders a chance to reconcile and revive the pop duo, dismissing their long-running feud as childish and urging a professional reunion.
Bohlen, 72, told the Bild newspaper that an international concert promoter has proposed ten live performances, alongside pitches for a documentary and a stage musical centred on the band. He sees strong commercial potential in Germany, South America, and Eastern Europe — markets where Modern Talking retained a devoted following long after their initial split.
The overture faces a significant obstacle: Anders, 63, ruled out a comeback in March 2026, stating his position in an interview with the Hamburger Abendblatt. It remains unclear whether Bohlen's latest proposal has prompted a reconsideration.
