Journalist Constantin Schreiber will leave media company Axel Springer at the end of 2026 and plans to take on a new role in 2027, the company confirmed.
Schreiber, a former ARD correspondent, joined Axel Springer in 2025 and reported from Tel Aviv and New York on the Middle East and international flashpoints. In April 2026, the company said he would shift his focus to podcast formats and work from Germany. His home desk was the Welt newsroom.
The departure marks a brief tenure at the publisher, following his switch from public broadcaster ARD to the private media group. Details of his next position have not been disclosed.
