Cerebras Systems unveiled plans to build a network of artificial intelligence data centres across Europe, targeting 200 megawatts of combined power capacity by the end of 2027. The announcement, made by Chief Executive Andrew Feldman at the RAISE Summit in Paris on Wednesday, sent shares up 11 percent in Nasdaq trading.

The company plans to bring its first European data centre capacity online before the end of 2026, operating facilities in France, Finland, and Norway equipped with its proprietary chips. Part of the planned capacity is expected to support OpenAI workloads under an existing partnership.

Cerebras also reported a sevenfold increase in domestic production capacity for its CS-3 chip at Flex's California facility by 2026. The company, which raised $5.5 billion in its U.S. initial public offering in May, specialises in chips optimised for running AI models.
