Brad Pitt will attend the 74th San Sebastián International Film Festival to present "Heart of the Beast," marking the actor's first visit to the Spanish event since 2009, when he appeared alongside Quentin Tarantino for "Inglourious Basterds."
The adventure thriller, directed by David Ayer, will screen out of competition in the Official Selection. Pitt plays James Belmont, a retired Army Special Forces officer who must survive the Alaskan wilderness with his dog Odin after a plane crash. J.K. Simmons and Anna Lambe round out the cast, with Damien Chazelle among the executive producers.
The festival runs Sept. 18–26, and the film opens in Spanish cinemas on Sept. 25. This year's Official Selection features 17 films in competition, three out of competition, and five special screenings.
