Ubisoft Singapore has rebuilt the 2013 pirate adventure Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag under the new title Resynced, a remake landing on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC on 9 July for roughly 60 euros. The release carries a 16+ age rating in Germany.

Developed on the new Anvil engine, the remake all but eliminates loading times and introduces overhauled combat with expanded combo options. Tailing missions and modern-day Abstergo interludes have been removed, with Abstergo lore retained only as text logs and limited-time challenges. New officer missions add backstories for crew members.

The package offers roughly 50 hours of total playtime, including about six hours of new content.
